This Katsugi taiko has a 19" head x 15" body (48.26 cm x 38.1 cm) An extremly lightweight design for over the shoulder playing. The strong & lightweight taiko body is made from hard maple. The katsugi oke daiko feature the same precision bearing edges as all of our taiko The extra thick rawhide heads are sewn to hollow steel rings to make them even more lightweight. The included nylon shoulder harness is adjustable to make playing comfortable for everyone. The taiko body is painted with a very durable hard poly paint that gives it a rich and shiny color.
